Home Visits: Launch, Grow & Sustain Authentic Family Relationships – Workshop
Strong and authentic relationships between educators and families are necessary to transform systems, communities, and schools. This interactive workshop will share a unique perspective from the national organization, Parent Teacher Home Visits (PTHV). Their family engagement model is implemented in over 700 communities across 28 states and DC spanning PK-12. Participants will hear personal narratives from the parent and teacher perspectives and reflect on their own experiences and feelings relating to family engagement. This workshop can help you begin to build authentic family relationships and mutual trust to strengthen school-family relationships, improve teaching, and bolster student outcomes.
