Workshop 2: Survey Says: Developing and Validating Surveys

Surveys are an important tool within education to gather data that is necessary to inform and improve educational offerings and support. Survey data can be used formatively and summatively to help educators understand experiences, assess opportunities, track attitudes, and much more. It is vital that the tools being leveraged to collect this information are valid and reliable to ensure that data being used to inform programs is sound and trustworthy. This workshop will provide participants with a process to guide their efforts to ensure program developed surveys are valid and reliable.
